Christopher qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1980 and had over 30 years' experience in surveying and valuing residential property. He was a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and was also on the Governing Council of the RICS (2011-2017). Christopher was a Registered Valuer and a member of the Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association and Council Member of the ISVA. He started his professional life in London, moving to the New Forest over 20 years ago. In 2000, Christopher opened the Christopher Green & Associates Office based in Fordingbridge and ran his own practice in this area for over 17 years together with his wife Kathryn. Since Christopher sadly passed away in August 2017, Kathryn is continuing to run the successful surveying practice Christopher Green & Associates Ltd, as was Christopher's wish, ensuring that the service provided to you, the client, continued to be second to none.
Kathryn is Director of Christopher Green & Associates Ltd. She began her professional life in Banking, having achieved the BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance, working for NatWest Bank in Salisbury for 5 years. She then gained her CELTA (TEFL) qualification and spent 13 years in Greece teaching English as a foreign language, returning to the UK in 2006 to work in residential Estate Agency as a negotiator and administrator for a small firm of independent Estate Agents in Salisbury, which is when she met Christopher. She then worked for a well established firm of Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors in Fordingbridge, in addition to working with Christopher part-time. Kathryn then joined Christopher Green & Associates full time in 2010 and ensures a friendly, professional first point of contact to all who phone, email or visit the office. Kathryn is currently training to qualify as a surveyor and in February 2018 was made an Honorary Member of the Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association (ISVA) and is an ISVA Council Member.
Nigel qualified as a Chartered Surveyor over 20 years ago. He is an experienced valuer and skilled Chartered Surveyor well-versed in all aspects of residential survey work. Nigel began his career in London working with Christopher, which is where their friendship began. They then moved on to Southampton with a well respected firm of Chartered Surveyors undertaking survey and valuation work. Nigel also runs his own successful cycle business, but decided to return to the world of surveying and in 2018 Nigel joined Christopher Green & Associates Ltd as a consultant surveyor. Nigel is a Member of the RICS and ISVA and is an RICS Registered Valuer and undertakes surveys and valuations of residential property.
Toby Plenderleith is an experienced valuer and skilled Chartered Surveyor well-versed in all aspects of professional survey work, both in residential and commercial markets. Toby began his career in Southampton and undertook commercial valuation and landlord and tenant work. Recent years were spent based in Ringwood. Toby's workload involved residential surveys and valuations in respect of both conventional and period properties to include valuations for matrimonial and tax purposes together with some commercial bank valuations and landlord and tenant matters. In 2013 Toby began consulting for Christopher Green & Associates Ltd and undertakes surveys and valuations of residential property and land. He is Member of the RICS and ISVA and is an RICS Registered Valuer.
Ryan has over 16 years experience mainly within the residential sector providing Building Surveys and Home Condition Surveys for both domestic and commercial clients. He also provides architectural design services and prepare plans on CAD for both Planning and Building Regulation Applications. He has specialist training with AutoCAD and has gained through Self-Build projects all the practical skills necessary to construct a property from the ground upwards. These skills have become invaluable over the years both when conducting surveys and advising clients on the practicalities of building design. Sustainability and "Green" building solutions are a particular area of interest which he likes to bring to the drawing board at the early stages of any project. Ryan is a Member of the RICS and is a consultant surveyor for Christopher Green & Associates Ltd since 2017.
