The Avon Valley – as its name suggests – follows the River from its two sources just beyond Upavon in Wiltshire to its mouth at Christchurch.
It runs through the city of Salisbury with its famous cathedral down the west side of the New Forest National Park and through the villages of Downton, Breamore, Fordingbridge, Bickton, Ringwood and Christchurch.
The many different homes and buildings in these areas sit on different soils from gravel to clay and from chalk to sand.
Each has its own unique characteristic and it is important that the surveyor who inspects the home you plan to buy understands his local environment.
Between them Christopher and Toby have over 50 years of surveying experience and with that comes an understanding – not only of the homes which exist in this lovely area, but of the people and communities which have developed and thrive within it.
