What is the difference between a Structural Survey (Building Survey) and a HomeSurvey Report/Level 2 Survey?

There is a lot of disinformation available on the difference between the Building Survey and the HomeSurvey. However in simple terms, we do not believe in a second class survey or a lesser survey of a building. We reserve our Building Surveys for Period properties of cob, thatch or stone, or Period timber framing, and our HomeSurvey for conventionally built properties constructed within the last 150 years which will be of cavity brick construction. We will therefore always conduct a full and detailed survey of a property to ensure that you are fully aware of all your potential costs.
