Although a mortgage company survey is undertaken by a surveyor in a similar format, you will rarely have the opportunity to discuss the survey with your surveyor, if you can find out who they are. You rarely have the individual contact beforehand with the mortgage company’s surveyor to discuss your requirements. It is also unlikely that you will have the opportunity to speak to your surveyor afterwards.

Your independent surveyor will make sure he devotes the time and energy to your survey that is needed. He will also spend time with you afterwards discussing the survey so that you understand its content. We are often in contact with our clients for weeks after the survey discussing various elements and assisting them further in contact with builders, architects and other professionals in their plans with the property.
